We all love wakeboarding, but we all know it can be quite expensive at the same time. With today's economy, not everyone has $400 to drop on a new board! Well have no fear... Liquid Force and Wakeboard Magazine are giving you a chance to win Shawn Watson's 2009 pro model board and boots. Watson recently re-signed his contract with liquid force and also earned 1st place at The Carnival, which takes place in Orlando. What do you have to do to win this sweet deal? All you have to do is grab your board and a friend (to take a photo or video) and submit a photo or video of yourself impersonating Watson. Send your photo or video to editor@wakeboardingmag.com and the most convincing impersonation will receive the free gear! For more information on Watson check out the Liquid Force site at liquidforce.com

If you’re a wakeboarder, then you know Cobe Mikachich. You also know of his insane skill and his generosity. He’s been known to travel the U.S. and Canada and hold teaching clinics during his Fantastic Voyage Tour, and he has his own wakeboarding company, Clutch Wakeboards (check out Clutch at evogear.com).
“I want to be for the rider. To take the sport to the next level for the riders.”Mikachich recently joined forces with Jon Beemis and they opened a new wakeboarding camp on Lake Ivanhoe (Orlando, FL) out of Ski World. Here they lead classes in teaching kids and adults how to wakeboard on the newest and latest equipment. Well guess what, they’re offering a weekend for a lucky aspiring wakeboarder at their new camp! Send your best appeal to editor@wakeboardingmag.com. The most convincing argument wins an instruction from one of wake’s top coaches. Check out this post at wakeboardingmag.com.

Wakestock kicked off on Friday with some of the top pros competing on some of the toughest courses in the sport. The event of the day that drew the biggest crowd, however was the debut of the Sesitec 2.0 portable wake cable system at the Oakley Wakeskate Pool Jam. The system pulls the wakeboarders out of the Oakley launch pool, down a four rail stair set, out into the wake course and then back into the pool. This new cable system could be a huge step forward for the wakeboarding sport, elevating it to a new level.

Hey all,
Welcome to Wakeboardstuff.com…! Wakeboarding is everything to most of you hardcore boarders out there but to some it is becoming a new way of life.
Take me for instance; I have three little kids 11, 9 and 6…two boys and a girl. They have been wakeboarding, wakeskating, snowboarding and doing pretty much everything in the water and on boards since they were 3-4 years old. But now that they are getting older wakeboarding has become more of an obsession for them and a way of life for our family.
There's a lot more to it than just hopping on a boat and going, that's why (by popular demand) a group of guys from Florida decided to get together and bring you this website. We will try to bring you the most up to date info on wakeboarding, wakeboard boats, wakeboard gear, towers, ropes and other cool industry stuff.
We are not pro’s by any means and actually I drive the boat 10x better than I wakeboard, but we have learned a few cool things along the way. We would also like for you to share your experiences with us and help provide some useful content for the new comers to the sport, knowledge is power brother.
So, jump in the water, its always great in Florida. If you've been trying to find the latest on wakeboard designs, towers, bindings, brands, apparel or just wakeboard life in general… then chill, you've found the right place.
